Feng Shui

These houses have the perfect Feng Shui. Which means mountains behind the house and trees around the house for protection against weather. Lake in front of the house and amazing view. Unfortunately most of us are not so lucky to have a mansion on Lake Tahoe. We have to work with what we have and make it better.
Certain places instantly give you a feeling of serenity and comfort while others induce a migraine. Your surroundings and the way energy moves around you have an enormous impact on your life. The study of these effects and how to counterbalance or enhance them is the art of Feng Shui. Feng Shui (pronounced fung shway) meaning Wind and Water is the ancient art of energy flow, placement, and natural harmony. Feng Shui is not superstition or magic but the combined ideas and practices of thousands of years of observation of the physical surroundings and the effects of Chi or energy on human emotions. Feng Shui is a tool that can be used to bring balance to your life. I use both types of Feng Shui to help my clients BTB & Classical. Read about both of them below.
BTB Feng Shui:
Black Sect feng shui operates on two levels, sying and Yi. Sying encompasses the tangible environmental factors of feng shui: it denotes the energy of the external elements (chi) of land, shape, and structure of houses and columns, the juxtaposition of doors, furniture placement that contributes to the feng shui of a place to determine one’s luck. Traditional feng shui schools mostly emphasize sying—literally “shapes”—and directions. While not rejecting these traditional methods, the Black Sect includes an additional instrument to harmonize the environment: the channeling and balancing of Chi. My theory, besides embracing sying, also includes something extra: Yi, Yi loosely translated as a wish, a will, or an intention—plays an important role in Black Sect feng shui. Yi is a blessing, a way of adjusting and enhancing chi through intuition and imposition of the will of the expert (and the will of the client) on a house or a person. It is a vital but intangible process a positive transference and transformation of energy (chi) that reinforces and blesses the physical aspect (sying) of feng shui.

Classical Feng Shui:
It’s the Chinese tradition Feng Shui, is rooted in the Taoist understanding that everything is connected in Oneness and alive with “Chi,” or Life Force. There are many methods used to read the visible and invisible world around us, in order to harmonize the environment in present time and space. There are 7 various tools of Classical Feng Shui are described below. I use all 4 of them to help my clients:
1: Five Element Theory: These are: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water.  2: Another one I use is Bagua” which means “eight trigrams,” and refers to eight fundamental aspects of human life, including family, prosperity, career, and relationship.  3: Kua calculates the currents of Chi on the planet during the year of your birth, and determines which of those directions of “Natal Chi” are energizing for you. When you know your best directions, you can use that information within your home and workplace.  4: The I Ching is one of the most ancient texts on Earth. The wisdom of the I Ching can be consulted for practical advice and is also used as an oracle and tool for divination. It provides the basis for Taoist philosophy and the foundation for Classical Feng Shui.
