Hi, this is Lien Luong a Feng Shui Master Designer. This is how I started my journey. I’m a Chinese American I came here when I was 3. I grew up here in Reno, NV. I am a native Nevadian most people here are transports from other States. I got my bachelor’s degree in Marketing at the University Of Nevada Reno. Afterward, I went to work for a candy company as a marketing specialist. Right before my husband and I got married. We bought a new house but we were starting to look at other houses for investment. I always loved the architecture and designs of homes and buildings.
Since I already knew a lot about feng shui through my family. I wanted to get certified in Feng Shui to find out the theories behind it. All I knew was everything was good luck or bad luck but I didn’t know why. So I got certified in B.T.B Feng Shui by the China Studies Feng Shui Learning Center in February 2006. Right after I got back started my business teaching and helping people with Feng Shui. I’m glad I did because a couple of months afterward I got laid off and I had to do something else to fall back on.
Since 2006 I juggle a lot, I’m a mom, wife, business owner so I’m very busy but I love it. In 2011 Lien was ordained as a Wedding Minister by American Marriage Ministries adding another level of service to my clients. 2020 was a year of coronavirus it spread like wildfire all over the world. Unfortunately lots of on and off Lockdowns, distant learning, restaurants, and stores closed. I officiated a lot of small weddings 50 people or less and elopements. Because no large weddings were allowed anywhere. Since my businesses were on and off slow too. So I started blogging and selling unique products for your body, home, and garden.
What is Feng Shui?
Feng Shui (pronounced Fung Shway) meaning Wind and Water is the ancient art of energy flow, placement, and natural harmony. Feng Shui is not superstition or magic but the combined ideas and practices of thousands of years of observation of the physical surroundings and the effects of Chi or energy on human emotions.
